Yongey Mingyur Rinpoche interviewed at Circle S Ranch near Lawrence, Kansas, in April of 2009. In this clip, he talks about his experiences of modern, Western culture, giving an example of a woman who had lost self-esteem. He goes on to talk about the Tibetan perspective on the fear of death. The interview was conducted by Dave Kendall, creator of the public television series called "Beyond Theology" (www.beyondtheology.tv).

me neither, i have been born here too. and i have always felt strange, about culture. please comment. i am a "1983 model". u.s. born, what do you think of the fact that all human beings are "originated" in some specific and inescapable time and culture? and though completely deemed by the world to be "x+y=z", we are bonded ,in spirit, to people usually alien in time and space to our earthly experience??
