This was the Winter Classic that most hockey fans talk about. What a scene...it all began with Ronan Tynan signing a very stirring "God Bless America" and then the flyover of the blackhawks. The game was a regular season classic and Sidney Crosby got the puck past Ryan Miller to win the game. Crosby has been Miller's nemesis for years now!!!

I got my picture take with him when he came to Afghan on a USO tour. What a great guy. He made me wear his Yankee World Series ring when I told him I was a Red Sox fan.

I was in Afghanistan for this game and it was awesome!!! I was sitting there in my gear and my buddy who's a HUGE Pen's fan were cheering. Everyone there agreed Buffalo put on a helluva show. Even the one Bruins fan there had to admit the Ralph was the right choice for the return of the Ice Bowl. Though we lost it was still awesome to see the Sabre's play.

yea, the flyover part was awesome, my father, my friend and I were sitting where the players came out and while we were down in the first section, it felt as if I could reach out and touch the choppers. They flew really close
