  • Sjaak Lucassen already travelled with a R1 around the world,it took him 5 years and he is from The Netherlands..not finland

    And he went on a R1 to the Artic..not R6 ;)

type " Sjaak Lucassen" in searchbar, then youll find his video's.

  • Nick has been doing this a lot longer that Sjaak. This is his final trip, not his first.

  • Alot longer?? Sjaak Lucassen crossed the world in 1995 on a Honda CBR.Nick Sanders his first trip ever was in 1993 or 1994 on a indian.

  • Actually it was 1992, which in my book still qualifies as a lot longer

  • Kick ass! Sure there are bikes MUCH better suited to this trek, but it's cool to see something swim upstream and test themselves (and the bike).

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom

does it matter both stupit to do it on an R1, there are bike out there that are a lot more qualified.

  • Now, who's gonna do it on a Goldwing?!

  • ei saa aru miks sellise mõtetu rattaga minnakse kõrbesse?!

  • @motorcyclenewsdotcom

but not on a racing bike an indian chief is a bit easier because of it's seat-handle bar positioning and because it has more torque on lower revs.

  • WTF! I don't remember doing this.

  • MAD MAX :)

  • The end make me dream

  • One thing.Synthetic oils! Thats the thing ,in my day 50,000 was top dog ,now?.Well 100,000 for an engines normal.
