How do you get all of those brushes? Do they come with the GIMP you have?
RedLatias 2 years ago
You have to download them separately, and when looking for Gimp brushes online, remember to keep in mind that Photoshop brushes work for Gimp too ;)

Thnx So Much How Do U Change The Colors Of The Scanlines?
krackpog66 3 years ago
Good question!
When you first make the new image, go to Image>Mode>Grayscale and then make your brush. When you save it as a .gbr, it should allow you to change the color :)
Hope this helps

hhhhhhhhm but what is the purpose of this scan lines thing?
HeadDominion 3 years ago
Good question :)
Scan lines are often used in modern digital art and aren't very useful when using Gimp to do something like a simple photo retouch. Here's an example of scanlines in some modern art (add h t t p : / / to the beginning and replace all 'DOT's with a period):

Scan lines are also commonly used on 'userbars', small icons found in forums.
I hope this answers you question :)
