Dumb & Dumber 2, The Mask 2, Bruce Almighty 2, and now this...Ace Ventura 3!

If you CAN'T get Jim to do the sequel, then there is prob a very good reason for it. Stop making sequels to movies without the original people.

i watched it on netflix and in a matter of less than 60 seconds they managed to kill every single joke from the series. not to mention killing the "You cant handle the truth" monologue. i watched the real Ace Ventura after that to grow all my brain cells back.

I totally agree, If you make a so called sequel that doesnt even have any of the original characters and has no, or little relation to the original other than the plot, it can just totally suck and you may as well call it something else, LIke? "pet detective kid".

My theory:

Jim Carrey made baby with the rhino from the second one (which actually was a robotic machine) and then 5 years later after the end of the movie, the rhino gives birth to some dumb kid who gets his own movie.......WTF?
