  • I thought Corey Wells sang the lead in this song? I guess this happens when a band with three lead singers splits up where none of them actually wrote anything.

  • I'm not sure, Danny Hutton sang too ! Now I think Cory and Danny are touring as Three Dog Night. It still was a good show, Chuck has great range and still sounded pretty good.True about the writing too, credit Paul Williams, Randy Newman, Leo Sayer, Hoyt Axton and so many more, thanks for watching and I have some more to upload, JBR.

  • @acoustic61 Cory did sing lead and smiled all the way doing it. He is just the best.

  • Cory sings it better, but I do love ya Chuck!

  • @scallly64 Yes Cory Wells is the original singer of this song. I love how powerful his voice is after all of these years, just fabulous!

  • The group might very well be better with Chuck,Danny and Corey together again.

  • @coryfan209 You're right, he sounds like crap, he lost the great voice he once had!

  • @coryfan209 Oh no, just saw Chuck in concert 3/26/10---FANTASTIC!!!

  • "ShambaIa " is a great song full of peace and kindness---makes me long to be there!!! Thank you jim for sharing and posting this gem : -)

  • Chuck sings as well now as he did in the 70's. Unless you've seen him in person recently....don't listen to ignorant dumbshits telling stories that his voice is weak.

Chucks band is iincredible...the two keyboardists have 10 star voices themselves. If you have a chance to see them...don't pass it up. They're touring with the Grassroots right now.
