Richie had a lot of potential, very strong voice, but not trained. Weak in spots. Too bad he never became a pro singer.

The premise of the series was that it was set in a world full of emancipated kids wherein adults figured only marginally. There was usually only one adult helpmate on hand who managed The P*lace. The Kids did provide their own vocals, but did not perform them live for the tapings.
