A sneak preview of the Fractal Fantasyworld of Desirée Glanville aka DevineDayDreams.

Desirée was born in an ancient town in the center of Holland in 1964. She was the youngest of five girls, when she was 5 her eldest sister entered Art Acadamy. She was always excited to paint and draw together with her and I guess that's where her love for art was born. According to her she was a sensitive child, out in nature picking flowers whenever she could. "I love them so much because of their color and beauty and I guess that's when I first realized the essence of ART. I developed an interest in photography, my dad was a prize winning amateur photographer, unfortunately he wouldn't allow me to hold his camera, but I tried to make setups and begged him to photograph them. I have been drawing and scribbling throughout my teens and in my early twenties I started to draw menu's and paint signs for shops and restaurants. I dropped most creative activities at age 23, went back to school to graduate as a sociotherapist/psychiatric nurse at age 26. When I was working between institution walls I discovered that environment has huge impact on human behaviour I started to study Feng Shui at the Kushi Institute of Northern Europe and graduated at age 33. I started a registered business in interior design (still in business today) 'created' three gorgeous children and filled the empty hours with drawing mandala'' s and photography just for fun! Over the years I have designed numerous public and private installations for more efficient and positive energy flow but found out it was hard to find good/suitable art. I first joined an Art site in 2005 (age 41) only to be able to comment on my eldest sister's work I had no aspirations to be an artist but got encouraged to submit my interior designs, one thing led to another and I started submitting drawings and photographs of flowers, was discovered by a scout from a stock site and started to sell my pictures through stock, it brought me a new range of clients and over the past five years I have been selling to card companies and magazines. In 2006 I met Alex Glanville, he encouraged me to pick up digital art, after a few months we started DualityDesigns a FengShui based fine art design company, I finally got the Art I was looking for!! We were picked up by an art agent from Amsterdam, our work was exhibited all around the world and we were featured in 'Light of Consciousness'. Since not all my work is suitable for DualityDesigns and some of the restrictions were blocking my creative flow I started an account on RedBubble under the alias 'DEvineDayDreams', being anonymous gave me alot of freedom and helped me push my limits!'
