Alice In Chains
"Black Gives Way To Blue"
Black Gives Way To Blue

lyrics:
I don't want to feel no more
It's easier to keep fallin
Imitations appeal
Emptiness all tomorrow's haunted by your ghost

Lay down, black gives way to blue
Lay down, I'll remember you

Fading out by design
Consciously avoiding changes
Curtains drawn now it's done
Silencing all tomorrows forcing a goodbye

Lay down, black gives way to blue
Lay down, I'll remember you

  • R.I.P Mike Starr and Layne Staley <3

  • I read "Imitations are pale", not "Imitations appeal"...what's wrong?

  • @SuperBeckymae yeah...and maybe there doing drugs together...I dont think Layne and Mike are hanging out man...

  • thanks CHAD, you belly rubbing itchy wrist cripple grips. ILOVELOVEI

  • He's got Mike to keep him company now. =(

  • I almost cry when i see layne pictures and songs, its is so sad, fuck the heroine, BURN THE FUKING HEROINE PLANTS PLS...

  • Kurt Cobain died 8 years on time before Layne Stanley. They was in same room in tapering-of cure, in same time, but they didn't speak each other, because Kurt hated the grunge...

  • well, after sever childhood abuse on ALL leveles, DO TO MY MIS-SPELLING- TOO LONG OF MY STORY, AS WE ALL HAVE ONE IF NOT MANY, I JUST HEARD THIS SONG ABOUT A WEEK AGO AND HAVE HADE IT ON REPEAPT 24/7.....WHY..? I REALLY DONT KNOW, BESIDES AS A HUMAN, ITS PULLS ME IN....

  • @deadgrl84 yes you could not have said it any better I too was heated about the new lead (no disrespect), but this song just made it easier for me to accept that his memory lives on with Jerry continuing A.I.C..

  • I read an interview with Jerry and he said that they had all this new music but it just wasnt the same and he felt empty....and he wrote this song for Layne and it filled that void. And he was able to carry on with the band at that point...i have alot of respect for William,..hes just accepting a gig with a great band, not trying to take Laynes place rather carry on his memory and legacy and hes doing a fine job...
