NOAA Severe Weather Alert - Audiovox 2-way radio

Recorded this earlier today when a severe weather system was passing through the area, the walkie talkie if weather alert mode is enabled will override the walkie talkie operation to alert you to an incoming severe weather system.

I used to use FRS/GMRS 2-way radios to communicate with my friends several years ago since at that time, most of us were still on 56K, this one I picked up on clearance at walmart - came with NiMh batteries and a charger, 7 mile range and built in NOAA weather radio for around $25 (even now this is still a good price)
