  • How would this do for punchy blues with a lot of *pop* semi clean? (neck pos)

I am also looking for a smooth Vai sound from my neck pos. How would the SHR 1N do?

  • @joeyplusamanda I think it would sound great, what guitar you putting it in? you might also wanna listen to the single coils that Seymour do, like the Quarter Pound.

    cheers

  • @MarkyGRocks I am putting it in a stock MIM Lonestar strat. Its got a pearly gates bridge and tex-mex single coils. HSS.

I really want to be able to get a smooth sound while being pretty distorted (Vai as I mentioned).

  • @joeyplusamanda Yeah it should sound really good!!

  • this is excellent, what pickups have you got middle and neck to go with them?

  • @KronikDethPainz Hey, the pickup in the neck is a Hot Rails SHR 1 N, the bridge pickup is also a hot rails but its the SHR 1B. the mid pickup is a noisless fender single coil.

    Cheers
