How much is too much money? When has a person or a company made enough money and what should they do if they have?

  • If you have north of 100-billion, or make more than 500-million a year, it's too much.

But I don't care. I'd prefer to set taxes up by specific benchmarks. 0-20,000 a year, things like that.

  • how about the max you can have is 100million in a bank/s anything over goes to pay for health care schools and helping people. no one needs more than a 100million. but people are greedy and in this world greed and wealth wins.

  • Good question. Look at it this way. There is no such thing as too much money if the money one has is EARNED by expenditure of labor or investment in real capital. If the money one has is UNEARNED, any amount is too much. All income from ownership of land and natural resources is totally unearned because the value of land and natural resources is created by the community and not by "owners". Collection of unearned values is the source of the disparity of wealth I think you are really questioning.
