Those of you who say this isn't scary,picture being in a movie theatre back in the 70s watching this. This was as hardcore as it got back then. Audience members ran screaming from the theatre.

I loved this video. I have two questions though. what is so scary about two beginning scenes, the head he found in the dirt and the clock? second question. i watched the movie several times now and i have read the book and i still dont understand what is the point of the beginning of the movie/book? the scene where he is in Iraq? I watched the movie multiple times and I still dont understand what the point to that beginning is.

@JosiahxX actually the battle between Father Merrin and the demon has began years ago....and the beginning shows the demon following Merrin anywhere...that's all i think...
this is the reason why i integrated those scenes in my vid......
