I've still got that show on an old vhs tape. The name was Blue Steel. He adopted the name was Steve and it was one of those pilots that CBS used to show instead of summer reruns. He was a robot with emotions off to see the president. Had Hoyt Axton in it 2 as a truck driver. For a couple of summers they showed failed tv pilots. Other shows included "the Gifted one" john ryes-davis . Let me know if you want the rest.
