  • @weat010 Think he's still using 2007, but good idea.

  • @Keyzer4

Would opening the log in form as read only also gets around the properties loophole??(access 2010)

  • No, unfortunately, Excel is stuck with those settings, it's a pain in the arse!

  • Yeah, that totally is appearing to be where the problem is. Another quick question for you: is there any way to make an excel spreadsheet larger than 256 columns? Like 5 times larger?

  • Oh yeah, and Access 2007 kinda sucks

  • I think you missed the 'finishing touches on forms' tutorial

  • This is really cool, but what if the person trying to get around the login screen simply closes the login screen using the X in the corner?

Possibly I have missed that in a previous tutorial? Or maybe something is different in Access 2007 (which is what I am using)

Honestly, though, I have been able to build an amazing database from scratch using your tutorials. Thanks VERY much.

  • Firchild,

Once again you outdid yourself. Your thought to help us protect ourselves and your ease of explanation is of a master.

    thank you so very much.

    Thanks.

    Nico.

  • Wonderful...Now I am able to protect my data and code. Every day I want to know more about Access and VBasic
