filter (noun): A screen, plate, or layer of a substance that absorbs light or other radiation or selectively absorbs some of its components.
Why not use colored LEDs? Well that would make it an LED array and that's not what this is.

I decided to do this project and take it a step further. I figure if you set the tv into a wall, (preferably a flatscreen), you can line the screen up with the wall so it's nice and even, and put a frame around it. It would keep guests confused and astonished, that's for damn sure.

This idea inspired me to pixelize my porable multimedia device. Not so perfect than this original but nice too.
