Let's Play Dark Souls - 4 - A Rat Kills Itself and Burns in Hell

In which I finally get across the dragon bridge by using an expert level tactic that only an MLG pro gamer like myself would possess: Blocking. Also, The Enfeebled man goes up against some overgrown, poisonous rats. Thankfully, one of the rats is so disgusted by his own existence that he promptly commits suicide. Chalk one up for Feebs!

RE: Surprise Buttsecks

You can actually back stab the boar - and yes it looks just as bad as you'd imagine when you do it with a spear.

(Note this only works on that particular boar as the ones at the Duke's Archives are fully armored)

The special drop from the boar is completely random. There are no special techniques used in order to obtain it, if anyone says otherwise THEY ARE LYING!

@VulxaniSolas Yeah I came to the same conclusion after failing to get the boar helmet using every single method that I could think of on multiple tries with a different character off cam. Thanks for confirming this.

a tidenite chunk up there

I've watched the majority of your playthrough and it bothered me that you NEVER went up into the tower at 24:34 because there's a nice item up there. You didn't even see the stairs up after you climbed up the latter after the rats

I think the boar drops a helmet, but it isn't dependant on how it's killed, just a random drop.
