The last part of the choral conclusion of the symphony. Begins with the quote from piano poem Pan. You can hear there these words of Jaroslav Borecký's poem:

(Male choir:)
...The region is silent, slumbering.
Peace! How sweet it would be to die! Pan's reed is singing.

Female choir:
Hush, hush, human spirit, beauty is calling, hear, oh, hear,
rise higher up! into the holy realm of eternal beauty, of which you dream all your life,
enter now!

Male choir (simultaneously):
Spirit eternally thirsty for the dive into the springs of beauty,
like into the Castalian Spring, just wants to dream you,
oh, beauty of nature that give him the wings.
Hush, hush, human spirit, beauty is calling, hear, oh, hear,
rise higher up! into the holy realm of eternal beauty, of which you dream all your life,
enter now! Rise higher up!

...Kraj mlčí, dřímá.
Klid! Jak sladko bylo by mřít! Pan na třtinu zpívá.

Ženský sbor:
Ztiš se, ztiš se, duchu lidský, krása volá, slyš, o, slyš,
stoupej výš! v krásy věčné svatou říš, o níž celý život sníš,
vejdi již!

Mužský sbor (současně):
Duch věčně žíznivý nořit se v krásy zřídla,
jak v zdroje kastalské, jen touží vysnít tebe,
ó, kráso přírody, jež jemu dáváš křídla.
Ztiš se, ztiš, duchu lidský, krása volá, slyš, o, slyš,
stoupej výš! v krásy věčné svatou říš, o níž celý život sníš,
vejdi již! Stoupej výš!

Wunderschön !! Das erinnert mich an Delius´ "Songs of Sunset",  auch an seine

späten "Songs of Farewell" oder an Roussels "Evocations". Den Namen kannte ich, jetzt höre ich zum ersten Mal seine Musik. Ich weiter weiter hören !!
