It's only a lie because he said months ago that he would go with public funding. It was during a debate that I unfortunately can't link to. Politicians are of course prone to lying, but I had heard that he was a 'new' kind of politician. It's not shaping up that way :(.
Full disclosure: I'm not voting for either candidate because I dislike them both. Equally.
How is this BAD?? Obama is TURNING DOWN MILLIONS OF TAXPAYER DOLLARS. He's saving taxpayer's money!!! Instead of Americans funding politicians, he's saying, "no, there's better use for that money!"
That's AMAZING. And if he can raise even MORE money on his own, GOOD. Let his supporters fund him, not the entire country!
This is a GREAT move by Obama, not a flip flop! He's doing something GOOD for us!
He went with the money rather than his promise. When the dollar signs came he changed. He didn't know the system was "broken" before he said he'd accept it? BALOGNA! He's the kind of slime that make D.C. what it is, he just looks better than most when he does it.
