Like my grandpap says - "This was a good idea gone bad. I give this a grade of B"

In the top 10 of all time R&B albums, maybe in the top 3...maybe #1

Thanks for the fine sounds! Brings back good memories. Not my all time fav' Bloomfield but given the abundance of selections possible, why pick just one? : ) Man - what I love about this tune is that right outta the gate from the word go, Bloomfield's up and on it for the whole tune. Love when he swipes that tone to bass about 2:26, and the tone/volume thing to end the solo - who else ends a solo with a giddyup!? Great tune.

Great!

Never heard Chris Farlowe then?

This true height of rock/blues guitar right here baby. The hands! Mike remains untouched to this day. ps The solo on Another Country is the greatest in the era -ie 1954 to present
-
Kills it.
I love Jimi (and so did Mike) for his unadulterated soul but Michael was the minimalist Tone Monster! All you young guitarslingers pay attention. There are several spots that sound like wah-wah. Not only wasn't it auto-wah, it wasn't even foot pedal..just a Les Paul, fingers, right strings and a tube amp, probably an old tweed Fender, with that natural compression and tone controls following Volume. Yeah!
