Back in the day you had to be turned on to John Prine (you never heard him on FM). Iwas turned on to John Prine in the mid 70s and he just keeps gettin better. Thanks for the music John!!!

I have been told this song was written about his mother; or maybe for his mother, but it sounds like his mother is gone--anyway it is a great song. Thanks for posting this.
