  • Thump, thump, thump; I have to love the 4 cycle sounds of a GE FDL powering up.

  • When my mom use to work near the factories,which were near the yard I would always see a B36-7 come and sort cars around there. It was a pretty good expirence to see them even if it was 10:30 P.M.

  • Yeah, it's hard to tell without more detail and a better shot of the number.

  • it looks more along the lines of older GP40.

  • Actually, that Conrail unit looks like a GP38 or something like that.
