Norfolk Southern trains in Bryan Ohio

I got bored and decided to take a little adventure (aka road trip) up to the small town of Bryan Ohio, about 20 minutes north of where I live (Defiance OH). The purpose? Train-spotting! I've gotten on Amtrak up there numerous times and was always struck by how busy the NS lines were through the middle of the night. Tonight started off slow but then picked up quite a bit. I caught a westbound train and then just when I thought it was gonna get quiet after he passed, an EASTBOUND train comes through right after! I nearly got blown away (stand that close to a freight train and watch what happens...) but it was worth catching the video of these amazing machines in action!

I spent many weekends here in the 90's. there were over 60 trains a day then.

It would be nice if their still were. I've been mostly shooting in Defiance lately because CSX down here seems busier than NS. Even down here though it's not insanely busy most of the time.
