  • Hilburn has ben one of Bob's biggest supporters and boosters (in the press) ever. He was pro-Dylan when nobody else was. I've been an avid Dylan fan since '62 and concert goer since '65 (Hollywood Bowl) Hilburn's concert/album reviews have always been intelligent and insightful - spot on! Some of you guys ought to lighten up - you really sound like you dont know your asses. I think Bob would laugh if he saw your silly comments

  • Hillburn was one reporter that Dylan trusted. Hillburn's interview with Dylan about songwriting is seminal. Hillburn is a Pulitzer Prize winning reporter and arguably the greatest rock and roll critic that ever lived.

  • and we all needed a music critic to tell us that about Bob Dylan. does he get paid for this? nice :))

  • i'm going to see him next week and i hope he doesnt play any of those songs. play what you want mr. dylan. you've certainly earned the right to do that. lol. i'd be happy to hear whatever you play.

  • @thesoundcellar Agreed!

  • Dylan probably knew that they didnt need to hear timestheyareachangin in year 2000..

  • Isn´t it awful to function as a memory box for people who want there youth back? Why can´t or won´t those people see, that an artist is a creativ person who has to develop, to change, to be free to do what he wants to do, otherwise you couzld have become an accountant. Thanks for sharing your memories with us Robert Hilburn
