This music would put me to sleep , but the scenery is nice.

Thanks. Indeed I did, for the first fourteen months, because I wanted to know it and there weren't any teachers.

Aww that's a beautiful story. I bet she would have had some stories to tell. And you thaught yourself Russian? Respect! :)

maybe it's because i haven't been anywhere for years and/or maybe it's a combination of the footage and the music but this place seems kinda idyllic and otherworldly. thanks for the upload.

Not far from there is Briden's Camp, and in that tiny hamlet, more like a simple row of houses and a pub, there lived a lady who was born and raised in pre-revolution Russia. She was the person who first gave me help with Russian conversation, as when I learned (self taught) there were only a handful of Russians in Hertfordshire. What a change between then and now!

What a beautiful, picturebook, village. I'd expect miss Marple to pop up anytime. :)
Pros: I liked the juxtaposition of still shots between the videos.
Cons: Far too many stills which flashed off the screen too quickly. Reduce the number of stills but increase their screen time.

Are your tears the actual source of the Gade, by any chance?
