  • Although I've been with nissan for a while. I actually grew up with honda's. My first eg was purchased in 1997, it was my first car and I've owned it since. The

motor that came out of the car went into my crx that I drove for 4 years but before the motor was installed the head gasket was replaced (only once) with this same procedures.. I do believe 4 years is quite long enough to ensure a wire brush cleaned head right befoe reinstalling.

  • Hi guys! I've done many headgaskets in my time. From all the cars I've owned, all the family members cars , all the friends cars, and especially from all cars that was worked on when I was working at the various Nissan dealerships

I've been doing headgaskets this way for many years now 10+ years.. All with no problems.

To jffkoop.. Are you speaking with experience or book/Internet experience.. I have over 10 years, please educate me a little

  • Joshkilla,

I have reported your childish response to my post.

You obviously have little worldly experience not to mention an absence of communication skills. Perhaps the military is an answer when you get out of high school. After that you may have a better appreciation for both the English language and America.

  • @itsjustdad not asking you asshole, i found this video informative and educational, your a dick........

  • One of the worst examples of how not to use a video camera that I have ever seen. Place the camera on a tripod and allow the actor to move not the camera. If you need to reposition the camera, stop the camera then restart it once you have it in position. Try a script instead of rambling pointlessly as you stumble through the words. Revolting and nauseating to watch and to listen to.

  • this guys a dumb ass you dont clean a aluminum head with a steel brush not only that i bet he puts it back togeather to find out he got bad rings on number 3

  • only if you somehow manage to rotate the camshaft(doubtful) or move the pistons while in the block, but if your smart you already turned it over to Top Dead Center. so you can just push them back to it.

  • hey i was wonder if u take off the head to change the gasket, is the timing gonna go off????

  • you just take the head bolt off ,should there be more bolt that need to take off,in order to take the head out.
