Are you frustrated because you are losing inches but not weight?

Please don't be.

In fact, that's what you ideally want to happen.

You see, this problem probably originated with you and that dumb scale in your bedroom or bathroom. The problem with the scale is that it lies to you. Your weight will constantly flux up and down every day and if you worship the scale, you're only going to mess yourself up emotionally.

Weight loss is really about physique transformation.

You want your body composition to basically shift in numbers. You want to lose fat and build muscle. That's what everyone really wants, but just doesn't realize it.



And the scale will never ever show this to you. Yes, gradually it will go down, but really slowly because you are replacing your fat mass with lean muscle mass.

The only way to tell for sure your true results are by measuring areas of your body with a tape measure to track how many inches you have lost or be scanned by a DEXA which is the gold standard when it comes to understanding what your body composition make up is.

However, it's really hard to be able to do that unless you are a student at a major university, a professor or just know somebody who has access to this machine.

Other than that, you are just out of luck. But that's okay because now you know that by you losing inches with the scale not moving at all, proves that you are doing what everyone else wishes they could be doing when trying to lose weight.

You're replacing your fat mass with muscle mass, the gold standard in my opinion of a physique transformation.

Whatever program via exercise and diet you are following, just stick with it because it's working. Don't go looking for a magic bullet and don't starve yourself or you'll screw up your results.

Keep at it and don't worry if you are losing inches but not weight.
