How long do the Dingwall strings last on average? I normally use SIT Power Wounds and they last about a month which is good for me!

My fear of moving to the Dingwall bass is that my string selection will be nill!

@RonnyOnBass well it depends, how many hours do you play every day? i think they last more than 1 month. they are really good. anyway there are also other producers like labella or k circle strings

This bass sounds great with the neck pickup solo'd or both pickups in series, I don't know why so many people play this bass with the bridge pickup solo. :P

@JEVentrillon I have done that before. It works for a very short time, though my current bass is a string thru bass. I won't be boiling those. I normally buy SIT Power Wounds which last longer and are cheaper too!

@RonnyOnBass hey, you can also boil your strings once they go dull its cleans them up and brings back the birghtness to your sound
