@kr3wjh nothing for the straight pipe sound, just took a metal grinder and cut the old muffler off..

so this is pretty loud? i know youtube doesnt do much justice for a lot of videos. Just want to know before i spend the money on my tacoma. its a 4 cyl as well

@pbmaniac51 it is very loud this way.. i got reports of people hearing me a mile away :) kinda sounds like a tractor at low rpm.

what size pipe did you use? and did you keep your stock cat?

Its the stock 2.5" pipe, and it has both stock cats on. I only cut the muffler off, and was in the middle of replacing it with a thrush tube :)

@Applexc0re ha i just did the same thing with my truck..i drove it around like that for a while but then put flowmaster 40s on with turn downs..i kinda miss that straight pipe sound

i have a 2009 tacoma v6 and did the same thing and sounds just like that more growlll tho
