  • @spos123 Obviously

  • @chrischaf I'll have to post a video when I get one made. How was the city able to take your cars? Were they registered and what city was it?

  • @jpatt1000 if you mean the ones where it's basically like two big aluminum rods spaced about 4 inches apart, then yeah, that's what mine were like. is biplane the official name for those? if not, it should be:)

i *think* mine was a 78, but it's been a while. it was a great little car, but while i had the transmission out to change a disgruntled synchronizer, the city decided i had too many cars. so i came home one day and the fiat and two other cars were gone:(

i hope you have better luck:D

  • @chrischaf Did you have th biplane bumpers? I just got a 77 with those on it. Was gonna swap them for earlier ones, but changed my mind. They're so weird that they're cool!

  • @spos123 ya, it's an x1/9. on of the earlier models with the split bumpers. later models got different bumpers, engine covers, etc, (as well as some not as easy to see mechanical upgrades) so it may not look like what you are used to seeing:) the one i had was newer than this one, but before they started marketing them as just bertones (minus the fiat part) so it had huge full width aluminum bumpers. well, until my first wife went to tow me a few blocks home and ripped the front one right off:P

  • @bongoman47 you loaded a video called "A Fiat X1/9 & a Ferrari 512BB in a scene of a musical video " which shows, well, A Fiat X1/9 & a Ferrari 512BB in a scene of a musical video . lol and were disappointed. i dunno what you expected, but i do wonder what important things in your life you were gonna use those 38 seconds for. :P *almost* enough time to pee, *almost* enough time to take out the trash. *almost* enough time to watch a geiko ad. *almost* enough time to post a youtube comment:D

  • ya know, i never would have thought that at bb could make an x1/9 look, well, kinda *big* lol. i never actually saw a bb up close, in person, but i have looked over a 308, and i always just *assumed* the bb would have to be a fair bit bigger to host a flat 12 and such. but after seeing this and remembering how *much* spare room was under the lid of my old x1/9.. well, i've come to the conclusion that the bb engine compartment has to be either TIghtt, or, Tardis. :P

  • wow, cool

  • Nice cars, shitty music...

  • sure that was an x1/9 ??
