In Summer 2008, Cedar Point PR decided they should film some of their most famous rides in a special "In Action" Series. This is the Maverick.

In my opnion this ride is so much better after dark... either way..one of the best.. so glad i'm only 1 1/2 away from Cedar point. Been going there since i was tall enough. could walk through the whole place blindfolded probably(exaggeration but pretty close) Can't get enough if it!!

maverick had a very long line. it was fun. i read the wanted sign before riding on it.

i know u asked this question 7 months ago but i'm gonna answer it haha....
yea they got rid of it right before it opened...when the trains passed through it, it was causing too much stress on them and they also thought the forces were going to be too intense for the human body so they removed it

the only thing i would change about this ride is the drop. if i designed it, i would have made it a little bit taller

ya the g-forces would have been too intense and the heartline would have caused a lot of stress on the cars, meaning they would have to be replaced every few years

Cedar Point has the most coasters in one park in the US XD so happy to have it only 2 hours away XD

yes because the G-Forces on it were to much and i think i slowed down the trains to much but im not 100% sure
