Is this the church that are connected to the Syrian Orthodox Church? The clothing are the same and some parts sounds like Syriac(Aramiac).

origins yes, but we split from them for political reasons more or less. We are brothers to them however as to any oriental orthodox denomination as well as brothers to anyone that are christian
