This protest is meaningless. Civil disobedience in the form of refusing to finance war is meaningful, but only worth the price to a few, myself not included.

You can not reason with a gun, or any who would employ force against you to finance their ends. I would not pretend to be engaging in a civil conversation with a person whose position necessitates coercion, extortion, and slaughter.
