  • Hey dude, sorry to sound annoying, but this EP came out in 1992, not 1995.

  • @Cahilldamien: You know it baby. Give papa some sugar.

  • One of the few good things to ever come out of Syracuse.

  • I saw a show in erie pa back in the day, it was brutal.

  • No sir. The lyrics are "You're entitled to your own freedom not to take others away." The way I read that is that you are free to not deprive others of their own freedom.

  • The lyrics in this song say it "You're entitled to your own freedom, but not to take others' away". It's about people who immediately resort to violence and people who refuse to discuss issues.

  • @HecticBRage They were one of the hardline bands that used their music as the platform and didn't give interviews like these modern bands who write generic songs and then make political statements in the news, the message is in their music, they are really cool guys who actually give a fuck, their main message was 'think about what you're doing'. Awesome band.

  • @LordAkaneon Thanks for dropping knowledge. Earth Crisis kick ass but I had no idea I disagree with literally everything they stand for. Proof that as long as a band says something, and uses their platform to convey their beliefs and tries to effect the world, good music and good art are often the result.

  • Best Earth Crisis song.

  • @copsondonuts Earth Crisis were actually right-wing leaning and anti-homosexuality, pro-family, pro-military, pro-life and represented hardline, as did most of their labels and friends. They were in direct opposition to 90's hardcore bands who told you to 'do whatever you want to'. It is true that they were bio-centrists but they were also pro-capitalist. i.e. profit is good, America is good, but don't harm the Earth. They're like the Ramones of Hardcore.

  • Pure awesome!

  • best song ever made
