The electric Mitsubishi iMiEV goes on sale in Japan in the summer and could be available to Irish customers by late 2010 if suitable government stimuli are put in place. Peugeot and Citroën will also market their version of the same car around the same time, and may even build the iMiEV for European markets. The iMiEV uses a series of ion batteries to power its electric motor, meaning economy should be high and it wont produce any emissions!
