  • and you guys have the kiwis to thank for this style of live capture back in the 70s we had what was called the venison wars where some crazy ass shooters and pilots started it and made massive money doing it in the roughest country and toughest flying conditions in the world

  • @crazeefella2000 Yes...yes we do! Thank you, the credit is all yours.

  • I did this yesterday it was the best experience ever running up to a chopper carrying a doe off the basket and then switched over to packing the nets for the net gun just out of curiosity is that dusty holts crew?

  • I agree; it truly is an awesome experience!

    Smith Helicopters did the capture.

  • @rebavh09 Like child molestation?

  • Don't for get, it was the American Hero Spiderman that inspired the idea of the Development of the Net Gun! abit of History for you.

  • I want this job

  • And we are still doing it!!! check us out..under Gordon Kane: The Kane Boys on Live Deer Capture

  • haha thats nothing compared to wat happend bak in the good old days over here in New Zealand good video though

  • :O robbison

  • That's defiantly Jay Smith, and the character with the beer and the net gun is Corey. I've had the luck to fly with both of them in an R-22 and they are amazing pilots. This video is nothing compared to what I've seen in person over the last 4 years of Texas A&M Kingsville research captures, 250 bucks a weekend in Webb county TX. I've seen Jay trim mesquite tree tops with his tail rotor, and stand that sucker up on a tail stand and whip it right back around and net the deer. Great video!

  • lol thats a hek of a pilot.
