With camera on my back and four years invested, I have traveled to devastated New Orleans, remote villages of Columbia, traversed India from the Himalayas, South to Auroville and back to the U.S all with one purpose: meet with and document many of today's devoted Earth Stewards, known, unknown and those likely never-to-be-known. As far back as I can remember I've been keenly interested in native peoples and their prophesies, each foretelling of cataclysmic earth changes should humans ignore their duty to steward the earth, and the price to be paid should we continue to defer these responsibilities to future generations. Kogi, Hopi, Lakota, and modern-day prophets as diverse as Edgar Cayce and Dr. John Todd, have all inspired me with their uniquely different, but unified voices. Backpack Broadcasting is the medium, video the pallet with which to paint and the Internet the canvas. With YouTubes' enormous popularity, I believe there is an audience eager to see and be inspired by such diverse voices each echoing sustainable solutions, and the dire need for a personal revolution and cultivate our regard for nature. WWW.BraveNewEarth.com is the germinating seed of my contribution to the groundswell of a global collective that is doing its brave part.
