Darkfall is coming

I wish the game was more newbie-friendly, the population is a little bit too low but its big enough to have alot of fun with.

Google Darkfall and it should be the top result. Go to their shop, buy it, then download it.

There's no free trial that I know of though. If you know someone who already has it then maybe you can ask them to let you try it out before buying.

It IS worth getting IMO. The game is very unique, and a lot more fun than any other mmorpg I've played.

No. Everything is online. They have an online shop. You set up an account, buy the game online and the game is downloaded. They don't actually sell physical CD's.

It's a bit like how Steam works.

I really can't remember, but that sounds about right. There's also a monthly subscription ($14 I think) after the first free month of play.

You pay $50 to buy the game, which includes the first month of game time free. After that first month it's then $14 a month.

If you ask me they're being sneaky by charging you $50 and saying the first month is free. It IS free, but $50 is a bit steep to buy so I reckon they've just added $14 to the game's price, making it $50.

$36 + $14 = $50 if you understand what I mean.

If you DO buy, make sure you join a good clan. Fighting alongside your clanmates is 60% of the game!

There's only two servers. One in the US and one in the EU. When you buy the game make sure you buy the right version (US/EU) because you can't switch between servers. You DON'T want to try playing on the EU server from the US with Darkfall, or vice versa. All combat is aimed and bad lag will cripple you in combat.
