On the last day of diving in Bonaire I got up extra early to start diving for the day. I was fortunate to spot this Eagle Ray cruising along the top of the reef foraging for food near the end of my dive.
It's hard to tell in the video but I had to work really hard to keep up with the ray for as long as I did. Eventually he started swimming faster and I was getting low on air and had to turn back.
Eagle Rays are beautiful, graceful animals and swimming in the water with one live in person is an amazing experience.
