  • please tell me the point of the washers

  • @mkwpros124 from what i remember, the washers are used as filler rings to ensure the gears mesh tight as they would otherwise slip.

  • @NXTLiftBoy do we really need them though

  • @mkwpros124 you can do without, but your gears may slip and wear out...

  • your link of the instruction is defect

  • @TheMrMeen Thanks for your commnet. I fixed the link to the instructions now, and "apologies for the inconvenience".

  • @NXTLiftBoy (continued from before) Unfortunately it turned out to be quite inefficient; in low gear the fiction of the 8 tooth gear added to the load of the motor, causing the output to the wheels to have less torque than in a more efficient setup ... which kinda defeats the purpose of it being a lower gear. Also, the setup had some weird side effects. In one instance the input, at low speed, turned without ANY transmission of power to the output; under load the output didn't turn at all.

  • @NXTLiftBoy Yikes, it's been 8 months and I still haven't uploaded a thing! I'm really sorry about that. The basic idea was to add friction to one of the differentials so that the output would spin at max until encountering enough load to overcome the friction. I used an 8 tooth gear on a 'Technic Axle Pin with Friction' (part ID 43093) meshing with the 24 tooth side of one of the diffs to do this.

  • I have a question, 1.09 you steer. So when you steered the motor stops it self?

  • @mkwpros124 i fixed the link to the instructions, so please follow that. Enjoy...

  • make another more clear video about the functionss please because im new to the lego technic world and it is kind of confusing fo me. please reply and please READ
