actually America has been around just as long as any other country it just didn't get any attention until 1776. the natives have been here they just were isolated from the rest of the world until the Spanish, French, and British landed on its shores. Then the rest of the world had found out about America. There has always been an America, maybe not with the name, its just it didn't catch up with history until almost 300 years ago.
