  • Should have dug it up from the ground then put the coupling. Im sure nobody wants to see the repair.. Looks tacky. I guess everyone has there way of doing things. But then again i would have never installed risers for the lawn area anyways. Looks dumb.

  • Are you sure that is Schedule 80 pipe and not Schedule 40 pipe? All the Schedule 80 pipe I've ever seen is gray in color. Schedule 80 nipples are common in irrigation systems (especially 1/2" risers), but not Schedule 80 piping. This looks like Schedule 40 PVC.

  • Thin wall PVC?
