The Castro brothers, Fidel and Raul, have ruled Cuba for 50 year - but on Sunday President Raul Castro looks set to ring in a number changes for the communist nation. Al Jazeera's Teresa Bo has more from Havana.

@Llukashipman I have nothing against a person being negro. I merely disapprove of the infection of Negroes by Marxism. Negroes have had little or no encouragement to cultivate a virtuous individualism. This is the white man's fault and the white man is reaping the consequences as America falls into socialism under a negro president and negro hatred of individualism. Most negroes do not think. They are mantra minded. They adopt the common Marxist spiel and never consider it wrong.

@simjom02 You sounded so liberal, I thought you were black, in which case what you'd said was not worth reading. However, since you are not black, your remark about the trade embargo is worth a few words. Castro financed the cold war in this hemisphere even after the Soviets ceased to massively support him. That might reasonably end now that Castro is out. So, it was CASTRO, not the embargo, which as the CAUSE of Cuban economic backwardness. Negroes support him, usually.
