don't over analyze this folks,he jumped the cushion, period. Without a wing, this is what sprint cars do, have done, and will do until the end of time.

Engine sounded kinda flat coming out of 4. He knew he was in trouble when he got into turn 1 because he got out of the gas as soon as the tires left the gound. Didn't sound like the engine had enough power to spin the tires free so it hooked and biked. He won either Sprint Week or King of Indiana Sprint Series in the mid 90's so he's got a clue what he's doing.

he was on the button and drivin ....ive seen lots of them flip when they gotta get off the gas and unload .........this is why i love time trials you can see and hear one car and driver just to see how there hooked. handlin and drivin...i wish he had not of tore up the car ...but shit happens..,.......this new fangled 10 cars timing at once sucks.....

Right rear tire pressure too low...probably about 7 lbs. Needed about 9 lbs. for a tacky track. Been there..done that!
Hey at least he's gas'n it up!!
