http://www.MuscleHack.com/build-huge-biceps-with-this-unique-exercise For The Full Tutorial

The problem with standing or sitting barbell or dumbbell curls is that the resistance starts to 'fall off' the biceps after the mid-point of these exercises.

Therefore, the mid-range area of those movements is where maximum resistance is, NOT in the maximally contracted position where maximum muscle fiber recruitment actually occurs.

Wondering about the crap lighting and seemingly freezing temperatures?
I workout in my detached garage with no heating. There is no ceiling light, just a lamp. As it's winter, it gets dark here around 4pm so the lighting isn't very good. It was also sub-zero temperatures outside with snow on the ground, so if you can 'see' my breath, that's what's up. Doesn't matter to me, I'll train in the snow if I have to ;) .

  • Hmm. I have access to a cable machine, but it's a BOWFLEX. Not sure that would work as I'm sure the tension created by the bars varies depending on how far they're bent.

  • I'm not sure since I've never used a Bowflex. Perform a few reps and see if there is good pulling resistance at the peak contraction point, that's very important.

  • That's pretty amazing! You have great biceps, and an lots of motivation. Love your workout space. Am myself a big fan of preacher curls, though will include Cable Preacher Curls from now on in my routine. Great clip!! And thanks for the upload.

  • Thanks man

  • i wouldnt kick him out of bed for eatin crisps

  • @xanadian9 Chuck Norris uses it of course it will work.

  • This makes good sense to me. Will Brink and people like that talk about 'time under tension'. Maintaining resistance at peak contraction seems like the same message. Effectively, you're keeping the muscle under stress for longer, and not losing the hypertrophy effect within sets. You can achieve the same effect on biceps by not bending your arms up too far each rep, and keeping the stress on the arm that way....great vid.

  • @Wortelbed yes doctor !

  • so if you do them slower you build more mass
