Highlights from the Bus to Hell at Phil Pospychalas Tribute to Bix Beiderbecke Racine, Wisconsin, March 11th 2010.

The music is the famous Gennetts recordings of Bix and the Wolverines from 1924, newly restored by Hans Eekhoff, Netherlands, from his mint originals, an excellent work!

The tunes are: Big Boy and I Need Some Pettin

Sorry about the quality of this video, but its the best that YouTube can offer.

  • Oh, what a treasure to have and enjoy! You're very talented....I love the way you've put them together and the music choices are perfect.! Thanks, Flemming, so much! What a great day that was!

  • Lovely souvenir of a most memorable event! Many thanks Flemming!

  • Thanks Flemming!

One correction--According to Kurt Nauck, all Black Patti records were recorded at the Gennett studio in Richmond, Indiana and not in this building we saw that day. (I wonder where Phil got that info)...

  • Loads of fun, Flemming!
