You skip a step mate. at 3:37, after my path is created, the anchors disappear and I can't move it the way you do. After reading other websites, I finally found out that I had to go to the Pen tool > convert point tool, hold down control before I can move the anchor points. Pls don't skip minor parts like this, after all it is a beginner's tutorial.

Pen tool is also useful for making straight or curve lines if you can make them.
