@roguishpaladin I was born in 1987, was raised with this movie (as with zulu dawn, das boot, braveheart, and many more...) and will never associate this song with Enya. Nevertheless, she's in the making of some great songs, as is Hans Zimmer ^^. Long live this song and the movie!

BEAUTIFUL SONG l LOVE IT ENYA......
-
TEMA ENÉRGICO, INSPIRA LEVANTARTE Y HACER COSAS IMPOSIBLES, HACER QUE LAS COSAS SUCEDAN, VISUALIZA UNA ACCIÓN ENÉRGICA Y DECIDIDA, ESCÚCHENLA, SOBRE TODO CUANDO CREAN QUE TODO ESTA PERDIDO....

@raquelalves98 not Vangelis..Trevor Jones and the.Royal Scottish National Orchestra,, from a piece called 'The Gael' by Dougie Maclean.

this is beautiful people shut up about the artist. it doesnt matter. thank you for uploading this! its gorgeous!
So, like the rest of the mob is howling, it's not Enya. In case, there's any confusion, Enya had no participation with any of the music in Last of the Mohicans. Her relatives did, though - Clannad (whose lead singer is her sister, Maire Brennan), sang "I Will Find You".
But yeah, not every Celtic-flavored piece of music is by Enya, not every humorous pop cover is by Weird Al, and not every symphonic movie score is by John Williams.

This wonderful piece of music was composed by the Scottish musician Dougie Maclean and is entitled "The Gael". It can be found in it's original form on Dougie's album "The Search". Dougie can be seen playing it elsewhere on youtube. Hope that settles any dispute. It certainly isn't Enya
