@elc1960 OMG that's true...except for most of the ones up here in my area are Korean or Hispanic! I don't think they know the word for "OUCH!!!!" when they are sawing back and forth on your nails.

I'm always trying to get my family to buy a dishwasher. But I got used to washing dishes in boiling hot water working in deli/bakerys. You wash dishes by hand there.

@lightsofrose Also people thought (and some people still do) that "THEIR way of washing dishes uses less water and is more effective", neither of which is true. (Electric dishwashers use less water - unless one washes all the dishes in a bucket of hand-hot water, and the water in dishwashers is FAR hotter than a hand can stand.)
