You're exactly right. it is used to increase compression. If the surface is scarred or warped you can also mill it to get it back to useable condition.

Is it a must to machine the heads after porting them? or is that just to increase compression and add just a bit more performance?

already replied: You're right, I think it's the auto focus. In my next video I'm trying to not move the camera as much.

Dude not bad, your right the intake side needs a slight(very slight) texture to the finish and the exhaust should be as smooth as possible. But when you mill the head you increase compresion ratio, not combustion size, Also ditch the Dremel, pros dont use those. There's alot better tools out there

@Proatporting101 Thanks for the comments but I guess you weren't listening very closely because increasing compression ratio by reducing combustion chamber size is exactly what I said
